oh i love this and love YOU sweet Lauren! First of all can we get a WOOOO!!! for you and this journey and tremendous feat?! YES! I'm so glad you were welcomed and affirmed by the cherry blossoms, mountains and visiting butterflies πΈππ¦ so with you on them being messengers of being ok π¦ all the creatures of course π but these precious moments and signs you share, how delighted i feel and swim in overexcited doggypaddles, rings and rings of wooo's and bellowing cheers for you. You did it Lauren!!! So non-patronisingly proud of you! Enjoy the sweet sweet soaks of this new chapter dear friend! ππ±πΈπ³
Thank you so so SO much! I am so grateful for your love and support and holding space over this journey. You are a gem! Honoured to have shared it with you π³π¦πͺ±πΊ
I have looked forward to reading this since it dropped in my inbox! I'm currently moving too, although not so far for me, literally 3 miles or so to another village! π I've not really done the whole 'moving' thing before, my first solo apartment was during the pandemimoore and I stayed there for all of about two months. This move feels much bigger, I've known this flat for years and it's been the one safe space while the world went (and continues to go) mad. I'm noticing the birds more now than ever before - there's a dopey pigeon who lives in the tree outside the front window who pecks anything thinking it's food, and the trees especially now they're blooming. Trying to be present with the feelings (all of the feelings) but it's unfamiliar territory. Loving your zest for this and of designing the life you desire - I will endeavour to do the same β¨β€οΈππ»
Thank you so much for sharing this with me. A few moves ago (I have moved a lot eek!) I was told to say goodbye to my past space. I have found that to be the most powerful thing, as we are always so ready to welcome in the new one (I love that you're noticing so much!) and notice and embrace and get excited about the new space.
We leave the other places for various reasons, but it has so helped me to take a moment and say (out loud if you can) thank you, and thank you for the things your home brought you: safety, specific memories, holding and sheltering you, the person you became while there, new hobbies you started or new skills you learned, or new things you discovered about yourself. Say thank you to that home for what it brought you and say goodbye and wish the next person who makes it their home, well. I hope this resonates, it certainly did for me when I was told it π‘
My struggle and blessing comes as I spend time with friends I havenβt been able to see because of work and the pandemic π· I have spread myself thin and my body is exhausted.
My goal is to get back to myself and create a routine that would support this. Thank you ππΏ
I know that feeling well, and it is something I haven't really felt in two years. It is a struggle I can feel creeping back in as some kind of normal returns. I hope you schedule some time in your calendar for rest or things you enjoy each week, that are just for you. Feel free to share with me what and how you make this happen in your routine, if you'd like to!
Au revoir, poutine. Hello BC! Immensely proud to see your progress (never perfection, nβest pas?) in the journey of self.
π§‘π§‘𧑠so appreciate you!

Love reading this and that you are moved and ready to begin your new chapter. Also..."accidental juice cleanse!" Oh dear!
Thank you so much my friend! It feels like I have been here forever, and I suppose in some ways I have in my heart hehe.
AND OH YES! Oops! That is how you know you have a friend who will love you unconditionally if that happens at their house haha π
