I'm Lee. Pronouns it/its.

Writing right now from under a blanket at home in Greater Manchester, drinking a mocha and watching the youngest cat have the zoomies and the other two try desperately to keep out of her way so they don't get pounced. Dog is under the blanket being a space heater.

Kathleen, I was named after my parents favorite song...she/sí/ella... I write, usually, from inside a music box, where rooms or locations magically disappear on the whims of melodies weaving the words...or in nature, a cathedral of trees or on the swell of water crashing a shore or rounding a bend or dropping off on the horizon under birds in flight. 🤷🏼

Writing from a deep blue couch near a window looking toward the twisty branches of an old native oak tree on the southern end of Vancouver Island (in the Salish Sea off the west coast of Canada, in the territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples known as the Esquimalt and Songhees nations).

Picturing Gary, the oak tree, and remembering our ice cream treats under the cool of his branches 👋
