Even by shortening your story Lauren, you still deliver the creme de la creme of words! Tinged with emotions of all sorts.... a longing yet a fulfilment, a finding yet a losing, a wanting yet a not, an old yet a new....a familiar past yet an exciting future...We're all on the same journey in many ways. Another wonderful piece of writing as always...Whether you write lots of words or not so many...my only request is you never stop writing Lauren (and sharing - that's the selfish need in me - but it's too much joy for the world).....Your gift is in your words...in your heart...in your vulnerability and in being YOU! xxx
Also, I have to know, if you are writing at 5am, what time do you wake up? Since the time change, I’ve been waking at 5:00 to start my work out around 5:20, but am toying with the idea of waking earlier to make the NY writers’ hour. 🤔
I have an alarm set for 4:30am and truth be told as it gets colder, I am getting out of bed around 4:50am. I join the NYC writers' hour but am usually spending the first 10-15 minutes making coffee and washing may face before settling back into bed with the coffee by my side, camera off and the words to be written. You will never see me with the camera on in that session, but it is my best writing time and that matters the most hehe xx
This writing was so captivating! I felt so much while reading it, conflicted emotions, tenderness, sadness. Thank you for sharing. Also was just loving reading all the ways you are creating boundaries for what is important to you- I whooped when I read that the novel would be getting that morning spot! And thank you so much for the kind mention of my newsletter, I am so so glad it has inspired something for you, that makes me really happy! xx
Thank you for always being such a generous cheerleader! I am so glad you got all of the emotions that you did from this volume, I sure felt them writing it and am glad I could convey that. So much love and gratitude for you 🧡🧡
I can tell that many people want your novel in their life too (and you can add me to the list!). Warm wishes as you write and shed like the trees xx
Thank you so so so so much, friend. That means the world xx

Oh gosh, wow, well thank you so much! Thanks for seeing me and for feeling these words in the way that you did, and sharing how you did with me here.
I promise to always write to you and everyone else who reads this love letter. It is my favourite thing to do.
Thanks as always, my friend and supporter xxx
