I must admit I do buy new clothing but once a year at best. Op-shops, thrift shops … they are new words to me, I think we call them charity shops here as usually charities run them. Anyway my most recent purchase from a charity shop was some china tea cups so I could feel fancy drinking my Earl Grey tea ☕️

ah, kids can be cruel, but you're right. It is how we are told the world 'should' be. Now I am older it matters less ;0)

Op-shops sound far more glam than the “thrift” shops here in the US (often called vintage shops, I can live with that). I only recently started haunting these spaces, mainly for old cookbooks and started collecting a series of cook-booklets published in the 70’s. It’s all about the hunt.

PS: has anyone told you what an amazing human you are lately?

They are called op-shops as it is short for Opportunity! As they are all usually charity stores, I believe this is why they have this name. Then in true Aussie style, we shorten everything we can! HAHA!

And your FINDS! They sound PERFECT! Wow! Yes to both of these. I hope your doggy is a good sharer as it gets colder hehe 🧡
