i did a thing

and i think i should tell you about it

I, quietly, recently, soft-launched a new aspect of hi, lauren deborah! and I am thinking that maybe, probably I want to tell you about it.

First, I want to tell you that creating this newsletter, my podcast, art and comedy is easy for me. When I say easy, I do not mean without challenges. What I mean is it is an easy choice. I would always do them. I would always do them for free. In fact, I have been doing so for many years. All I need is the time and space to play with them. It’s the process (and the community we are building) that brings me joy.

So what did I do? I launched a hi, lauren deborah! shop.

I also relaunched the option of buying me a coffee vegan ice cream (AKA a tip).

Why?

Well, purchases of these offerings buy me time. Meaning I don’t have to take on unrelated work to make ends meet and that frees up my time to make even more free content. Kind of a beautiful cycle, really.
